13th Floor Elevators - Roller Coaster
After your trip life opens up, you start doing what you want to do.
And you find out that the world that you once feared,
gets what it has from you... No one can ever hurt you,
cause you know more than you thought you knew.
And you're looking at the world from brand new eyes,
and no one can ever spoil the view.
These are sort of an overview of what I used to do, and where I am now.
The Manhattan Pier was taken in 1972 about midnight. An 8 minute
exposure on Pan-X 35mm. The Pot was an ad for High Times Magazine,
and the house
interior was done for the furniture and woodworking
makers. Both were taken with a Calumet 4x5 and Schneider Lenses in the
early 80's.

Barbara (my 1st great love, with the spiked out hair) and Kim were done in
studio with a 35mm Olympus OM-1 and Norman 2000w/s Strobes, about
the same time. Eric was lead singer for a band called Little Kings, and was
shot in an underground crossing on Fairfax near the La Brea Tar Pits, with
available light and scrims.

The top two were taken last fall in Wisconsin with a 35mm
Olympus XA and
digitized by Kodak on CD. The stand of trees were worked with Photo
Shop 8. I was trying to get an abstract image, that retained a look of
realism when viewed from a distance.  The golden tree had slight color
saturation enhancement, with a little soft focus thrown in. One of these
days I'll try digital, when I can afford to get a decent camera.
